In addition to the eight varsity sports offered by the College, Saint Mary's also provides athletic opportunities through club sports. The club sports currently offered to Saint Mary's students are volleyball, lacrosse, cheerleading, western equestrian team, and dance team. Saint Mary's club sports are also open to Notre Dame and Holy Cross students depending on the sport's specific rules and guidelines.
Club sports are jointly regulated and organized by the Saint Mary's Office of Student Involvement and Athletic Department. Each club has either a student president of the club or an advisor. Listed below are the respective leaders of each current club:

About Saint Mary's Club Sports
The Volleybelles club volleyball team competes against other colleges and universities through tournaments and other competitions in the Midwest. The season typically runs from November through March. An organizational meeting and tryouts are held in late October.
Tryouts are held in the fall semester. The group performs at home basketball contests as well as at other special events throughout the year.

Western Equestrian Team
The Western Equestrian Team is a club sport that competes in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. There are a few shows each semester that members participate in and travel to through IHSA.
The Saint Mary's College Quidditch Club is open to all Saint Mary's students and students from Notre Dame or Holy Cross.
Boxing Belles Club
The purpose of the Boxing Belles Fitness Club is to generate a social group of women who want to become stronger in different aspects of life. With a focus of empowerment, this club is open to all Saint Mary's, Notre Dame, and Holy Cross women who are committed to better themselves physically.
The yoga club is a social group for students that will allow for a full body workout in one hour. There will be weekly yoga sessions with several different instructors teaching their own unique class.
