2012 Alumnae-Senior Champagne Brunch

The Saint Mary’s College Alumnae Association welcomed its newest members on Monday, April 14 at the annual Alumnae-Senior Champagne Brunch. President Carol Ann Mooney, an alumna from 1972, gave the toast to the class.

Seniors Jessica Gagnon and Elizabeth Busam, co-chairs for the class gift campaign, announced the seniors had earned $14,334.87 for their class gift, a higher amount than any class in history. The proceeds will benefit renovations of Angela Athletic Facility.

Anabel Castañeda of Oak Park, Illinois, was named Outstanding Senior. A double major in communication studies and political science, Castañeda will attend the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, one of the top 20 universities in the world.

Class president Maggie DePaola led the class in the Saint Mary’s College Graduation Pledge.
