COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols

In partnership with state and local health officials, the College has instituted public health protocols to keep the campus community and local communities as safe as possible. All of the College’s health and safety protocols will be in effect for Commencement weekend. 

Rain Ticket Information

In the event of rain the day of Commencement, the ceremony will move to Angela Athletic & Wellness Complex. Tickets will be required with limited seating. Only guests with a rain ticket will be admitted. Each graduate is allotted five tickets for the indoor ceremony and must pick up their tickets prior to Commencement weekend.

If the decision is made to move the ceremony inside, it will be announced by 9 a.m. to the campus community via email, social media, and the College website. Note that the ceremony will be livestreamed if it is held outdoors or indoors. A simulcast will be shown on campus in O’Laughlin Auditorium, Moreau Center for the Arts, starting at 12 p.m. Seating is general admission, first come first served.

Bookstore Hours for Commencement Weekend

The Shaheen Bookstore will be open Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On Campus Housing

On campus housing will be available in McCandless Hall during Commencement weekend. Please click on this form for more information. The deadline to reserve housing is April 20.

Eating On Campus

During Commencement weekend, the 1844 Grill will be open Friday, May 13 from 9 a.m to 5 p.m., and Saturday, May 14 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Commencement Brunch will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Noble Family Dining Hall and is available to graduates and their guests. Tickets are $14.50 for adults, $7.25 for kids 12 and under, and can be purchased at the door. The menu will feature made-to-order omelets, Belgian waffle station w/toppings, croissant breakfast sandwiches, a carving station with ham, stuffed French toast, bacon, sausage links, scrambled eggs, gluten-free Quiche Lorraine as well as a variety of pastries and cereals. There will also be coffee, tea, and other beverages available.

Parking and Campus Map

Commencement parking is available at three locations on campus:

  • Angela Parking Lot
  • Science Hall Parking Lot
  • Commuter Parking Lot

Handicapped parking is available in the Clubhouse Parking Lot (southeast of Madeleva Hall). Golf carts will be available to take guests from the handicapped parking lot to the Le Mans Green for the Commencement ceremony.
