Boyce Earns Second MIAA Golfer of the Week Honor of Fall
ROYAL OAK, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Saint Mary’s golfer Mary Kate Boyce its Golfer of the Week.
Boyce, a senior from Oak Lawn, Ill. (Mother McAuley HS), extended her lead in the race for MIAA season medalist honors with back-to-back rounds of 80 during the MIAA Jamborees at Olivet and Adrian. She finished second in both tournaments. Boyce, who is being honored as Golfer of the Week for the second time this season, has shot an average of 80.3 during the four MIAA Jamborees, an average of two strokes better than the second-place golfer.
Boyce and the Belles will wrap up the fall season this upcoming weekend when they travel to Bedford Valley Golf Course for the season-ending MIAA Championships on Friday and Saturday.
