Frances Hwang and students read from their creative writing
On Tuesday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m., on the 2nd mezzanine level of the library, Assistant Professor of English Frances Hwang and her creative writing students will read from their original works.
Professor Hwang has taught creative writing and English at Saint Mary’s College since 2007. A graduate of Brown University and the University of Montana, she is the author of the short story collection Transparency, and her fiction has appeared in Tin House, Subtropics, Glimmer Train, and The New Yorker, among other magazines.
This event is presented in conjunction with National Library Week, and is co-sponsored by the Cushwa-Leighton Library and the Department of English.
