Justine Siegal, founder of Baseball For All, April 18
Justine Siegal, founder of Baseball For All, will give a talk in Vander Vennet Theater in the Student Center on Wednesday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m. in conjunction with the display "Diamond Dreams: Girls and Women in Baseball."
Baseball For All is a non-profit dedicated to providing meaningful opportunities and instruction in baseball, especially for girls. Baseball For All envisions a day when girls will have the same opportunities as boys to compete in baseball at every level of play. Justine Siegal has played baseball since childhood, playing in high school leagues, men's summer leagues, women's international play, and pitching batting practice for several Major League Baseball teams.
The talk is free and open to the public.
