New Look for "Ask a Librarian" Service

Our "Ask a Librarian" live online chat service has a new look!  Improvements on both the patron and the librarian end will mean that now we can offer our online chat service during all the hours that the reference desk is open:

  • Monday - Thursday 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
  • Friday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Sunday 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The new Ask a Librarian chat works exactly the same way that the old one did: simply click in the lower box and type to send a message. A librarian will answer your question immediately!  During the hours that the service is unavailable, a link will direct you to our Reference Request Form, to which we will respond as soon as we're back in the office.
