May 21, 2008 (Notre Dame, Ind.)— Saint Mary's College is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2008 Alumnae Association Awards, which will be distributed at the Reunion Banquet on Saturday, May 31 as part of Reunion Weekend, May 29-June 1. The following is the list of the awards and the recipients. Click on the names to learn more about them. The Distinguished Alumna Award is the Alumnae Association's highest recognition.

Distinguished Alumna Award: Margaret FitzGibbons Higgins ’73

Alumna Achievement Award (posthumous): R. Gaynor McCown ’83

Humanitas Award: Mamiella Chavis Brown ’79

Outstanding Young Alumna Award: Geneviève Morrill ’98

The Outstanding Senior Award, which is given to a graduating senior, was awarded at the Alumnae Senior Luncheon on May 13.

Outstanding Senior Award: Natalie Grasso ‘08
