President Mooney: Non-traditional season and if it’s appropriate for D3 players and how long it should be. Interested in how we feel:
Volleyball: feel like its good, get back to rebuild and connect more than off season and get back in the gym, only have 1 or 2 open gyms so its nice to get in the gym. Helped get back in “volleyball” shape, spring season give them a chance to be with the coach, give them something to look forward to.
Softball: Gives freshmen a chance to see how they do things on the team and meet teammates, even people who aren’t freshmen can see the commitment and get some people back in shape- reality check.
XC: very important for them to be able to get back together and run, so much better to run with each other, lose speed so its good to get back to that speed during spring season, hard doing it on your own, feed off each other.
LAX: Wish preseason was longer
President Mooney: two things I realized was good for the team, good for your friendships

President Mooney- wish more non-athletes were coming to events because we work hard, more students need to participate and support you
Karen- Important for non-athletes to know how well we represent the College, and how hard we work, very proud of SMC women and athletes.
-Ideas to bring more students to athletic events
-Encourage freshmen to come to games.
-Sodexo staff gets involved on game day. Big pins “game day”
-Mascot- It could be an animal: tigers, lionesses. Five different options that we would be willing to be.
