Belles, Bulldogs Fight to 0-0 Draw
The Saint Mary’s soccer team played to a 0-0 draw on Saturday afternoon against Adrian College at Performance Stadium.
Saint Mary’s now is 3-2-1 in the MIAA with a 4-7-1 mark on the season while Adrian ends the game with a 3-2-1 league mark and a 5-9-1 overall record.
Despite the score, it was a back-and-forth affair, with Adrian goalkeeper Amanda House registering five saves while Belles’ goalie Laura Heline had eight. The Bulldogs out shot the Saint Mary’s 11-7. The Belles held a 3-1 edge in corner kicks.
Lindsay Chitwood had a game-high four shots for Adrian, while the Belles were led by Ashley Hinton with three.
