NSCAA Team Academic Award 2009

Belles Earn NSCAA Team Academic Award



NOTRE DAME, Ind. - For the fourth straight year, the Saint Mary's College soccer team has earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award.

The award is given annually to teams that achieve a team grade point average of 3.0 above for the academic year.  At the conclusion of the 2008-09 school year, the Belles team had a 3.38 cumulative team GPA to earn the award.  

Saint Mary's was one of three MIAA women's teams to earn the honor with the other two schools being Alma and Olivet.  It is also the fifth time in the last six years that the team has received the accolade.
