Offensive Explosion Propels Belles to Win over Manchester
NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Colleen Ferguson and Micki Hedinger scored goals within 22 seconds of each other in the second half to help lift the Saint Mary's College soccer team to a 5-1 win over Manchester on Sunday afternoon.
The back-to-back goals by the senior forwards turned a 1-0 deficit to a 2-1 lead for the Belles as Saint Mary's never looked back.
