Belles Fall to Scots
ALMA, Mich. - The Saint Mary's soccer team fell by a 4-0 score to Alma on Saturday afternoon.
The Belles and the host Scots were all square at the half. Saint Mary's notched a pair of shots on goal in the first 45 minutes while holding Alma to just four shots on goal in the opening half.
The Scots took little time to get in the scoreboard in the second half, however. Alma scored goals in the 46th, 48th, 52nd, and 77th minutes to take the 4-0 decision over Saint Mary's.
Ashley Morfin tallied both shots on goal for the Belles in the first half while Caitlin Walsh collected eight saves in goal.
The Belles return home to host Albion for an MIAA clash on Friday, October 8 beginning at 4:00 p.m.
