Belles Bow to Polar Bears
WESTERVILLE, Ohio - The Saint Mary's soccer team was defeated by Ohio Northern in day two of the Otterbein University tournament by a 3-0 score on Saturday.
The Polar Bears got three goals from Sami Atkinson in the third, 47th, and 54th minutes of the game.
Caitlin Walsh had 15 saves for the Belles while suffering the loss in goal. Kaitlin Teichman had a pair of shots, including one on goal, to lead Saint Mary's. Katelyn Tondo-Steele, Keely Noonan, and Mollie Valencia also added shots in the game.
The Belles (0-6-0) will travel to Elmhurst College on Wednesday for a 5:00 p.m. (CST) contest against the Bluejays.
