Junior Lauren Enayati was
named to the All-MIAA First
Team this spring.
Enayati led the Belles in batting average, at bats, hits, triples, and total bases in conference play during the 2011 season. A starter in each of the team's 16 conference games, she hit .397 with 23 hits in 58 at bats in league play. At the end of the season, she had more hits than any of the 140 players in the conference with at least one plate appearance this spring. Her batting average was the seventh-best among all conference players while her 27 total bases were good enough for a share of fifth-best in the league.

The lefty outfielder hit .391 as a lead off, .438 with runners in scoring position, .500 with runners on base, and had a .714 success rate of advancing runners in a plate appearance during MIAA play.

An All-MIAA Second Team honoree last spring, this is the first time in her career she has been named to the All-MIAA First Team. Enayati is the ninth player in program history to earn All-MIAA First Team honors and becomes just the fifth Belle to earn multiple All-MIAA recognition in softball.
