SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Saint Mary's golf team shot an impressive 326 at Elbel Golf Course on a rainy Saturday to take second place at the Cross Town Rivalry.

FREELAND, Mich. - Forty-nine Saint Mary's student-athletes were named to the 2014-15 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Academic Honor Roll.

In order to be named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.50 cumulative GPA or above for the entire academic year while also earning a varsity letter in an MIAA-sponsored sport.

GRAND LAKE, Colo. - For the second consecutive year, the Saint Mary's lacrosse team has been recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) as an Academic Honor Squad.

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Saint Mary’s College Department of Athletics proudly announces that Ashley Steffey and Katie Bourbonnais have joined the staff in time for the 2015-16 academic year.

Ashley Steffey, ATC, LAT, GT, is director of sports medicine while Katie Bourbonnais, ATC, CSCS, is an assistant athletic trainer. Bourbonnais’s position is made possible through the NCAA Division III EthnicMinority and Women’s Internship Grant.

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Saint Mary's College Department of Athletics was one of 18 NCAA Division III members to receive the 2015 Ethnic Minority and Women's Internship Grant.

According to the NCAA's website, the grant is a two-year grant program that provides funding for entry-level administrative positions at Division III institutions and conference offices to encourage access, recruitment, selection and the long-term success of ethnic minorities and women.

FREELAND, Mich. - Six of the Saint Mary's varsity programs were recognized by the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) for their outstanding academics during the 2014-15 year.

The Belles basketball, cross country, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball teams were all named to the 2014-15 MIAA Team GPA Award honor roll for posting collective 3.300 GPAs or above for the past academic year.

NOTRE DAME, Ind. (August 7, 2015) – The Saint Mary’s College Department of Athletics and Recreation proudly announces Denise Van De Walle as the new head coach of the varsity volleyball program.

Van De Walle comes to the College with a wealth of coaching experience, which includes working with Ball State University, Bowling Green State University, USA Volleyball, and the University of Notre Dame.
