Belles Bow to Brits

ALBION, Mich. - The Saint Mary's tennis team fell by a 6-3 margin to conference foe Albion on Wednesday evening.

Jillian Hurley and Mary Therese Lee got back to their winning ways at #2 doubles as they pushed their season record to 12-2 with a 8-6 win.  

On the singles side, Camille Gebert won her fourth MIAA match of the season at #2 singles with a 6-4, 7-5 win.  The victory is her 22nd consecutive win over an MIAA opponent in both regular season and conference tournament play.  Franca Peluso earned the team's third and most decisive win of the match as she won 6-1, 6-2 at #4 singles.

The Belles (8-6, 2-2 MIAA) will travel to Kalamazoo on Saturday for an MIAA match against the Hornets beginning at 1:00 p.m.
