Belles Win Fourth Straight Match

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Belles won two of three doubles and three of six singles as the Saint Mary's tennis team won their fourth consecutive match with a 5-4 decision over Carthage.

Jillian Hurley and Mary Therese Lee claimed their fourth doubles win of the season at #2 doubles with an 8-4 victory.  At #3 doubles, Jessica Kosinski and Cara Rectanus earned an 8-1 win for the Belles.

Hurley went on after her doubles match to take a 6-1, 6-4 win at #1 singles for the Belles' third decision of the match.  Kate Grabarek earned her second consecutive win at #6 singles with a 6-3, 6-4 victory.  Jessica Kosinski clinched the win for the Belles with a 6-3, 7-5 battle at #3 singles.

The Belles (4-1) will compete twice tomorrow against Wesleyan and Wartburg.
