#3 Maroons Silence Belles

CHICAGO, Ill. - The Saint Mary's tennis team got a firsthand look at why the University of Chicago is ranked #3 in all of Division III tennis on Monday evening.  

The Maroons took a 9-0 win against the Belles.  Jessica Kosinski and Monica way paired up at #3 doubles to give the Maroons the closest-played match of the day as the two took four games in an 8-4 decision.

Jillian Hurley and Franca Peluso each won three games in their singles matches as Chicago won each of the singles matches in straight sets.

The Belles (8-5, 2-1 MIAA) will return to conference play on Wednesday when they travel to Albion for a 4:00 p.m. match with the Brits.
