Belles Stopped by Flying Dutch

HOLLAND, Mich. - The Saint Mary's tennis team had their four-match winning streak snapped by conference foe Hope on Saturday as the Flying Dutch took a 7-2 win.

The two wins for the Belles came from Jillian Hurley and Jessica Kosinski at #1 and #2 singles, respectively. Hurley fell 6-2 in the first set but came back with a commanding win via 6-2 and 6-3 scores in the second and third frames. Kosinski, meanwhile, needed a little extra at the end of her match as she was able to outlast her opponent 6-3, 7-5.

The Belles will have a chance to regroup and will look to their next MIAA match, which comes up on Tuesday, April 12 at Alma beginning at 4:00 p.m.
