The Indiana premiere of From These Honored Dead, this new chamber work by composer William Averitt will feature Saint Mary's College Women's Choir, members of the Euclid Quartet, Sherry Klinedinst, and faculty member Laurel Thomas (soprano). Averitt will dicuss the genesis of From These Honored Dead, a 45-minute song cycle in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the end of the Civil War.

This event is free and open to the public.

Featuring the world premiere of a new work by American composer Daniel Knaggs.

For this year's annual concert, a new work was commission from American composer Daniel Knaggs. The concert will feature several other pieces with strings as well as unaccompanied works and those with organ and piano featuring accompanist David Eicher. The concert will close, as usual, with our traditional, candlelit Silent Night.
