Belles Drop Decisions to Knights and Panthers
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Saint Mary's volleyball team closed out the regular season with a pair of losses to #13 nationally-ranked Calvin College and non-conference foe Hanover College on Saturday.
The Belles fell 3-0 (25-13, 25-4, 25-8) to the #13 Knights and 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-17) at the second day of the Midwest Challenge hosted by Calvin College.
In the match against host Calvin, the Belles were led by Lorna Slupczynski's six kills and 10 digs. Danie Brink also added 10 digs and 16 assists in the loss.
Statistics from the match against Hanover were not available at the time of reporting.
The Belles will make a return trip to Grand Rapids on Tuesday, November 3 for the first round of the MIAA Tournament as they face off with Calvin for the third time this season.
