Belles Suffer Tough Setback to Comets
OLIVET, Mich. - The Saint Mary's volleyball team suffered a tough setback by dropping a closely-played 3-1 (25-21, 20-25, 25-17, 25-23) decision to Olivet on Friday night.
Lorna Slupczynski led all players in the match with 23 kills on the night. Lindsey Stuss added 11 kills of her own to help aid the Saint Mary's offense. Ellen Huelsmann and Meghann Rose both had solid nights on defense as Huelsmann notched 25 digs while Rose had 20 of her own. Danie Brink, meanwhile, had 38 assists while pitching in 10 digs for Saint Mary's.
The Belles will return to Angela Athletic Facility on Wednesday for their final home contest of the regular season when they host Albion at 7:00 p.m.
