I was using my computer and an Internet Service Provider at home over a weekend/break, but now I am back on campus and having problems connecting to ResNet. Can you help me?
When you connected to the Internet from home, you probably changed your connection settings. The easiest way to make sure that all of your computer's settings are back to the way they need to be to connect to ResNet is to follow the instructions for connecting to ResNet. Connection instructions for ResNet (popularly referred to as the "purple packet") are available in the ResNet Office.
You can also use any networked computer on campus (such as the ones provided in the computer clusters) and visit the ResNet web site (http://www.saintmarys.edu/~resnet) to obtain the connection instructions. Click on the appropriate link for the type of computer you are bringing to campus - "Macintosh Connection Information" or "Windows Connection Information." Then click on the appropriate link for your computer's operating system to download a copy of the instructions, which you can print out if you wish.
If you are having problems connecting your computer to ResNet, please complete a ResNet Problem Report Form at http://fixit.saintmarys.edu and a Residential Computer Consultant (RCC) will contact you for assistance.
