Saint Mary's Drops MIAA Opener to Adrian

ADRIAN, MI – A rough offensive night hurt the Belles as they dropped their MIAA opener to Adrian 3-0 (30-25, 30-28, 30-11) Tuesday evening at the Merillat Athletic Center.

The win lifts the Bulldogs record to 4-1 overall and 1-0 in league play while Saint Mary’s falls to 1-3 and 0-1 respectively.

Saint Mary’s converted 36 kills on their 145 hitting attempts but committed 37 errors in posting a -.007 hitting percentage for the match.

Lorna Slupczynski and Jacee Watson recorded 11 and 10 kills respectively for Saint Mary’s. Marissa Gross had a team high 17 digs.
