Chemist on whether apple juice is safe (Fox 28)

9/14/11—The U.S. Food and Drug Administration Wednesday took TV doctor Dr. Mehmet Oz to task over his claims that there are unsafe levels of arsenic in apple juice. The USDA says Dr. Oz's team's tests were not done correctly. Liz Bajema '11, professional specialist in the chemistry department, explains the difference between organic and inorganic arsenic and why the USDA says apple juice is safe to drink.
