Belles Against Violence Office Hosts Stalking Awareness Talk (WNDU-TV)

Did you know that 75 percent of stalking victims are stalked by someone they know? Or that those between the age of 18 and 24 years old experience the highest rate of stalking? A talk on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. in Rice Commons in the Student Center will help you identify stalking behavior. The talk is open to the public. WNDU interviewed Connie Adams, director of the Belles Against Violence Office (BAVO) at Saint Mary's, and Debbie Riddle, a national spokesperson against stalking whose sister was killed by an ex-boyfriend who stalked her. Riddle will share her sister's story with the audience.
