Belles Sunk by Scots

ALMA, Mich. - The Saint Mary's soccer team lost a 4-0 contest on the road at conference foe Alma College on Saturday afternoon.

The Scots struck with a goal in the first half and added three second half goals. The game-winner for the Scots came in the 27th minute on a header off of a free kick.

Alma out-shot Saint Mary's by a 17-9 margin and took seven corner kicks to the Belles' one.

Lindsay Rzepecki and Mollie Valencia each had two shots for the Belles. Chanler Rosenbaum added five saves in goal.

The Belles (2-4, 0-2 MIAA) return home to host Calvin on Wednesday, September 18 at 4:00 p.m.
