Students Blend Skills and Interests with Campus Job Experience
Meet Belen Pacheco-Salazar ’26 and Olivia Traxler ’24. These two Saint Mary’s students learned that campus is not as quiet as you may think during the summer. Both worked in different positions on campus during the summer months, assisting with various activities. Rachel Torres Bell ’98 crafts communication strategy for a living. Typically, that work has been on behalf of corporate concerns. In recent years, however, Bell has given her time and talents to expanding legislation that would send a powerful and positive message about the value of hiring military spouses in the workforce.
