Roxane Gay to speak at Saint Mary's January 15, 2018 (Notre Dame, Ind.) — The Saint Mary’s College Department of Communication Studies, Dance, and Theatre is proud to present “An Evening with Roxane Gay” on Wednesday, February 7 at 7 p.m in O’Laughlin Auditorium. Cancer Research at Saint Mary's Up on the third floor of our Science Hall, three students quietly conduct ovarian cancer research using state-of-the-art equipment. Dressed appropriately in white lab coats, they manipulate and closely examine colorful petri dishes that look like something from a CSI episode. Each one contains stained ovarian cancer cells that might hold answers on how to better fight cancer.
