Belles Bitten by Wildcats

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Saint Mary's tennis team was handed a 9-0 loss on Tuesday afternoon by undefeated Indiana Wesleyan.

Audrey Kiefer had battled at the number five singles spot before falling 6-4, 6-2. Mary Catherine Faller held her ground in the first set in her number one singles match before ending on the short side of a 6-4 score in the opening set. Jackie Kjolhede won a pair of games in both sets at number four singles as the Belles won at least a game at each flight.

The Belles (6-3) will look to get back to winning this weekend when they travel to Illinois to take on both Wheaton and Judson on Saturday.
