High School Treble Choir Festival
Nov 20 - 21
Moreau Center for the Arts, O'Laughlin Auditorium| Thursday, Nov. 20 - Friday, Nov. 21 |
The Saint Mary's College Music Department will welcome high school choirs from Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana. Each choir will perform three or four pieces and receive written evaluations from commentators.
This year's commentators are Dr. Emerson Eads of Southern Illinois University, and Dr. Susan Kelly of Stewarts Creek High School.
Performances begin at 10:10 am on Thursday, November 20, and 9:40 am on Friday, November 21. All participating choirs will come together to rehearse and perform "Ever Thankful," a commissioned work in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Treble Choir Festival. The day also includes a self-guided tour of the campus and a performance by the Saint Mary’s Belles Voix.
Admission is free and open to the public. Come enjoy a full day of music with these talented choirs!
