38th Annual High School Treble Choir Festival

38th Annual High School Treble Choir Festival

Nov 16

Moreau Center for the Arts, O'Laughlin Auditorium
Thursday, Nov. 16 - Friday, Nov. 17 Free Event!

Join the Saint Mary's College Music Department for the 38th annual Treble Choir Festival!

This annual event is a unique opportunity to provide local treble choirs with exposure to other high school choirs of its kind, and to give the members a special event to look forward to that is geared especially toward them!

Each participating choir will perform several pieces and will receive written evaluations from two commentators and a third commentator will work with each choir for 15-20 minutes following their performance. This year’s commentators are Dr. Lori Hetzel, Associate Director of Choral Activities and Professor of Music Education at the University of Kentucky; Dr. Gabriela Hristova, Director of Choral Activities and Associate Professor of Music at the University of Michigan-Flint; and Dr. Marin Jacobson, Director of Choral and Vocal Activities and Director of The Bach Institute at Valparaiso University (IN).
