Sarah Miesle has served in her current role as sports information director at Saint Mary's since August 2008. As the department's communications director, she is in charge of maintaining and updating the athletics website, keeping statistics and training student employees at home athletic events, and sharing stories about student-athletes among other responsibilities. She works jointly with the Office of Integrated Marketing Communications in her role.

Prior to her return to her alma mater, she spent one year as the assistant sports information director at Adrian College. In that year, she was the primary contact for men's and women's ice hockey, synchronized skating, ACHA hockey, softball, men's and women's soccer, men's lacrosse, and tennis. Additionally, she served as the interim sports information director during the hiring process for a new sports information director from August to October of that year. Miesle helped the transition of the college's athletics website to a content management system during that year.

As a student at Saint Mary's, she was a student intern in the sports information office during her junior and senior years and was a four-year member of the Belles softball team.
