NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Saint Mary's cross country team was one of 197 NCAA Division III colleges and universities to be recognized by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as an All-Academic Team.
The team posted a 3.24 cumulative grade point average this past fall to earn the distinction. Saint Mary's was one of five Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association member schools to earn the academic honor for the Fall 2012 season.
To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the team must have had a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 through the 2012 fall semester.
