Belles Sit in Third at Olivet Labor Day Tee-Off Tournament

MARSHALL, Mich. - The Saint Mary's golf team shot a 350 and currently sits in third after day one of the Olivet Labor Day Tee-Off Tournament at the Medalist Golf Club.

Washington University in St. Louis holds the lead after posting a 310. Host Olivet is second with a day-one score of 338. Washington University's Connie Zhou leads the race for the individual title with a 75.

Janice Heffernan led the Belles with an 81 to sit in eighth place individually. Ali Mahoney carded an 86 to hold a share of 12th place. Courtney Carlson sits in a tie for 23rd after turning in a 91. Lydia Lorenc wrapped up the team score with a 92 as she holds on to 25th place individually. Kelsey Conkright was the team's fifth scoring-eligible golfer and shot a 102 to share 34th place.

Rachel Kim is playing as an individual in the tournament and shot a 97 to sit in a tie for 30th place overall.

The Belles look to move up the leaderboard as the tournament concludes tomorrow, August 31 starting at 9:00 a.m.
