Belles Sit in Fourteenth at WashU Spring Invite

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Saint Mary's golf team shot a 353 and sits in 14th place after day one of the Washington University in St. Louis Spring Invite.

Fourth-ranked Rhodes leads the field of 15 teams after shooting a 294. Gustavus Adolphus is second with a 312, and three teams - No. 5 Wittenberg, Sewanee, and host No. 16 Washington University in St. Louis - are tied for third with 314s. Rhodes College's Mackenzie Cohen led the field with an even-par 70 on Saturday. The Belles sit just three strokes behind conference rival Olivet.

Taylor Kehoe led the Belles with an 85 on day one to hold a share of 52nd overall. Lauren Read was a stroke behind with an 86 (t-58th). Kelsey Conkright chipped in an 87 and is tied for 65th overall in the field. Kaitlyn Gray and Courtney Quinlan rounded out the Belles' lineup with matching scores of 95 (t-75th).

Day two of the tournament begins at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday at the Golf Courses at Forest Park in St. Louis, Missouri.
