Belles Hold First Place at Heidelberg Fall Invite

TIFFIN, Ohio - The Saint Mary's golf team shot a 334 on Saturday as the Belles lead the field after day one of the Heidelberg Fall Invitational at Mohawk Golf & Country Club.

NAIA program IU-Kokomo is in second place with a 351 while fellow NAIA member Grace is third with a 355.

Hunter Kehoe led all players with an 80 to earn round medalist honors. Summer Stillson was tied for second overall after turning in an 82. Lauren Read tied for the eighth-best round of the day with an 85. Taylor Kehoe wrapped up the team score with an 87 and a share of 11th overall. Kelsey Conkright was the fifth player in the lineup for the Belles and shot a 96 (t-41st).

Courtney Quinlan and Libby Clark are both competing as individuals at the tournament. Quinlan carded a 94 and is tied for 35th overall heading into day two. Clark turned in a 101 and is tied for 62nd in a field of nearly 80 golfers.

Day two of the tournament begins at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.
