SAUGATUCK, Mich. - The Saint Mary's golf team broke both the school record and the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) record for the lowest 18-hole round with a blistering 293 to win the third MIAA jamboree of the season on Tuesday.

The Belles' 293 is an eight-stroke improvement upon the school record of 301 set last fall at Bedford Valley. The score is a six-stroke improvement of the lowest 18-hole MIAA round of golf, which was established by Hope in 2016 at Bedford Valley. Additionally, the score of 293 is an MIAA course record for the Ravines Golf Club as it was a 26-stroke improvement upon the previous low score.

Saint Mary's finished the round 30 strokes ahead of host Hope's 323. Calvin finished third with a team score of 337, and Alma and Olivet tied for fourth with scores of 338.

Hunter Kehoe fired a two-under par 70 to take medalist honors while also establishing a new MIAA record for the lowest conference round played at the Ravines Golf Club. Her 70 ties her for the lowest MIAA women's golf round ever and is a program record for the best MIAA 18-hole round in Saint Mary's history. The sophomore had an eagle on the par-five 14th hole, four birdies, and nine pars on the day.

Taylor Kehoe and Sydney Hruskoci, meanwhile, each shot even-par scores of 72 to tie for second place. Their scores tie them with multiple players in MIAA history for the fourth-lowest 18-hole score in conference play. The pair tied for the most birdies on the day with four apiece. Kehoe added 12 pars while Hruskoci carded 10 pars in the round.

Summer Stillson wrapped up the record-breaking performance with a 79 to tie for seventh overall. Stillson was tied for the fourth-lowest scoring average on par four holes on Tuesday and was tied for third with 11 pars. Lauren Read was the fifth player in the scoring lineup for the Belles and shot an 81 to tie for tenth place overall. Read had 10 pars and was tied for sixth in par five scoring.

Hannah Finley and Maggie Sexton both competed as individuals at the jamboree. Finley was tied for 14th overall after carding an 82 as she was tied for seventh in par four scoring. Sexton shot an 86 and tied for 21st overall.

The Belles head into the fourth MIAA Jamboree with a 63-stroke lead over the field as the conference schedule hits its mid-point. Saint Mary's tees off in the fourth jamboree of the season on Saturday at Kalamazoo's home course of Milham Park Golf Club starting at 1:00 p.m.
