Thomas More Award

The Thomas More Award is given annually to the student-usually a graduating senior-who best exemplifies the ideals of the Humanistic Studies Program. The Award is named after the patron saint of the department, the Renaissance humanist, scholar, and saint, Sir Thomas More (1478-1535).

This Award is presented at the Honors Convocation in May and includes a gift from the department. The name of the winner is printed in the Commencement program and listed on the department's web-page.
