The LGBTQ+ Center marks the College's commitment, outlined in the strategic plan, to create a culture of belonging and mattering by fostering an inclusive environment for all to experience acceptance, and feel empowered to engage in the campus culture as a valued member. The Center serves as an inclusive and safe space for our LGBTQ+ community and Allies by providing educational opportunities, community and resources for the College. Designed with everyone in mind, this space is perfect for small meetings, studying, or a quick break. A place surrounded by inspiring and encouraging words that will make you feel at home.

The Division for Inclusion and Equity created this space for everyone to feel free to be who they are. ALL are welcome here.

The Center is located in the Student Center on the second floor.

SAGE

Sexuality And Gender Equity club, also known as SAGE, is a student-run gay-straight alliance. SAGE serves the Saint Mary’s community as a safe space for LGBTQ+ students and allies. We actively pursue the goal of uniting LGBTQ+ students and allies together. We work to achieve this goal through events that foster dialogue, discussion, and friendship making. Additionally, SAGE actively works to educate and inform students about the LGBTQ+ community and about related topics such as LGBTQ+ history, sexuality awareness, gender, race and ethnicity, and mental health.
