Dee Earns Academic Honor Roll Accolade

  • Katlynn Dee was one of more than 450 Division III women's lacrosse student-athletes to earn Academic Honor Roll recognition from the IWLCA.

GRAND LAKE, Colo. - Katlynn Dee became the first member of the Saint Mary's lacrosse program to be recognized on the Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) after a successful year in the classroom in 2015-16.

The IWLCA honored more than 450 student-athletes from 149 different NCAA Division III programs with a place on the 2016 Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll. In order to be eligible for the recognition, a student-athlete must be a junior, senior, or graduate student with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average while being on their institution's varsity lacrosse team.

Dee, who is double majoring in history and philosophy with a minor in sociology, met the academic qualifications and recently completed her junior year at Saint Mary's. She is the first member of the Belles' lacrosse program to be recognized with the IWLCA's individual academic honor. Moreover, she was one of twelve student-athletes from five MIAA programs to be included on the list for the 2015-16 academic year.
