Communication Studies Some of the best Saint Mary’s traditions are Closing the Circle, Opening the Circle, and the class ring because they represent both belonging and growth. Closing the Circle welcomes you into the Saint Mary’s sisterhood at the very beginning of college, while Opening the Circle reflects everything you have learned, experienced, and become by the time you graduate. The class ring adds to that meaning because it serves as a lasting reminder of your time at Saint Mary's and your connection to the Belle community. These traditions are special because they capture what Saint Mary’s is really about: tradition, community, and becoming the person you are meant to be.

As for words of wisdom, I would say to trust the process and be kind to yourself. It is okay not to have everything figured out. Some of the most important growth happens in the uncertain moments. Take opportunities that scare you, learn from your mistakes, and do not compare your journey to anyone else’s. Business Administration If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that things don’t always go the way you planned, and honestly, that’s where most of the growth happens. The uncomfortable moments, the ones that push you or make you question things, are usually the ones that shape you the most. Say yes to things that scare you, even if you don’t feel 100% ready. No one really is. You figure it out as you go, and that’s how confidence is built. The people you surround yourself with matter more than you think. Find the ones who support you, challenge you, and make you feel like yourself. And don’t overlook the small moments. The random nights, the little routines, the in-between parts of life, those end up meaning the most. Also, there is no perfect timeline. It’s so easy to compare, but everyone is on a different path, and that’s okay. Just keep showing up, be a good person, work hard, and stay open to whatever comes next.
