Saint Mary’s Chemistry Students welcome all to ‘Halloween Spooktacular’

October 23, 2017 (Notre Dame, Ind.) — It’s that time of year again! The Saint Mary’s College Chemistry Club is hosting its annual Halloween Spooktacular Magic Show on Thursday, October 26 from 6-8 p.m. in Science Hall. The event is free and kids of all ages and their parents/guardians are invited to attend. The club will be accepting donations, which are greatly appreciated. Click for a campus map.

The Halloween Spooktacular Magic Show features interactive magic stations for kids of all ages. Attendees will learn about and participate in various chemistry experiments that they can take home with them, including dry ice bubbles, invisible ink, goo, and more.

There will also be several student-run dynamic demos throughout the evening, including  elephant toothpaste and the color-changing iodine clock reaction.
