Saint Mary's junior starts Habitat for Humanity campus group

March 28, 2017 (Notre Dame, Ind.) — Saint Mary's junior Kay Thursby '18 started a Habitat for Humanity campus chapter this year. The group's first event, a Wall Build, was held last weekend at the Habitat for Humanity warehouse. Thursby shared about the students involvement with Habitat for Humanity on WNDU.

Saint Mary's students, professors, and President Jan Cervelli built walls for a house that will go up in April and May by the Women Build group. A Saint Mary's alumna, Cathy Kurczak '09, works for Habitat for Humanity and served as the Site Manager for the event.
