Students, Faculty, & Staff Adopt Local Families for Christmas via WNDU

December 9, 2016 (Notre Dame, Ind.) — Saint Mary's students, faculty, and staff adopted 29 local families, plus a group of residents at Healthwin Specialized Care facilitated by the Office of Civic and Social Engagement (OCSE)

Adopt A Family

Maggie Carswell '17, a student worker in the OCSE, told WNDU, "It's great to know that we're helping the outside community. You know, we are a small campus but knowing that we can impact the community that gives us a lot, it's nice to be able to do that. Knowing that along with studying and being a student we're also being active community members."
