Belles Sweep Competition on Day Three in Florida
WINTER GARDEN, Fla. - The Saint Mary's softball team was dominant in an 11-0 (5 inning) win over Lancaster Bible before coming back late in the game to take an 8-7 victory against Misericordia on Tuesday.

Childhood in South Bend charted path for new Saint Mary's College pres...
Janice Cervelli grew up near the St. Joseph River in South Bend, taking hikes along the river bank, catching tadpoles and swimming in Pinhook Park lagoon.
Those childhood experiences helped form her adult career as a landscape architect, educator and university administrator.
Cervelli will be returning to her South Bend roots in June, when she becomes president of Saint Mary's College.
"It is the place and time for me. I believe in Saint Mary's so strongly," Cervelli said during a telephone interview from Tucson, where she's dean of the College of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture.

CLERMONT, Fla. - An eleven-run output was more than enough offense for the Saint Mary's softball team in an 11-5 win over Ohio Wesleyan. A late rally in game two was stopped short in a 7-4 final against Wittenberg.

World Cinema Festival, March 21-24, Promotes Intercultural Appreciatio...
Saint Mary’s College will hold its annual World Cinema Festival Monday, March 21 through Thursday, March 24. This event is hosted by the College’s Center for Women’s Intercultural Leadership (CWIL). The festival will feature four international films over the course of the week. All showings will be at 7 p.m. in the Vander Vennet Theatre in the Student Center. Admission is free of charge and the event is open to the public.

Aphasia the Movie to be Screened and Star to Speak at College
The Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders at Saint Mary’s College is proud to present “Aphasia, the Movie,” part of The Carl McIntyre Aphasia Project, on Thursday, March 17 at 7 p.m. in Carroll Auditorium of Madeleva Hall. The 40-minute movie will be followed by a talk by Carl McIntyre, a successful actor, salesman, and teacher who had a massive stroke in 2005, leaving him with an acquired communication disorder called aphasia. The event is free and open to the public.

Belles Take Two Wins on Opening Day
WINTER GARDEN, Fla. - The Saint Mary's softball team claimed an 11-2 win over Saint Joseph's (Maine) in five innings before defeating Bethany (W.Va.) by a 7-1 score on the opening day of their 2016 season on Sunday.

Fine Arts Camp for Children with Communication Disorders
This summer, Saint Mary's College will offer its first annual Character Central Fine Arts Camp for campers ages 10-15 with communication disorders.
