On October 7, 55 Bachelor of Nursing Science (BSN) and seven Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) students received their white coats in a ceremony that was both solemn and uplifting.

Author Explores History Through Personal Lens
Saint Mary’s College welcomed Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Annette Gordon-Reed on October 12 to speak about her newest book, On Juneteenth. Gordon-Reed is a professor of history at Harvard University, a professor of law at Harvard Law School, and an award-winning author of six books. She comes to Saint Mary’s as a visiting lecturer for the Departments of History and Gender and Women’s Studies.

The grant from Lilly Endowment will support The Center for the Study of Spirituality, under the leadership of Daniel Horan, OFM, as the primary institutional partner in a new Catholic preaching certification program for women.

Department of Athletics Announces Addition of STUNT
The Saint Mary's College Department of Athletics announced the addition of STUNT as the newest varsity program along with the hiring of Jillian Humphrey as the head coach selected to build the program. Saint Mary's is the first NCAA Division III college or university in the state of Indiana to add STUNT as a varsity sport.
