Rosenbaum Named MIAA Defensive Player of the Week

ROYAL OAK, Mich. - Saint Mary's sophomore goalkeeper Chanler Rosenbaum was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Defensive Player of the Week for her performance in games played through September 2.

Rosenbaum did not allow a goal in net in 200 minutes of action for the Belles over the weekend. She made four saves in a 1-0 season-opening win over Bethel, Ind., and followed with a double-overtime shutout in a scoreless tie against Illinois Tech. The back-to-back shutouts in goal give her four career shutouts for the Belles.

Rosenbaum is being honored as MIAA Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
