Rosenbaum Recognized as MIAA Defensive Player of the Week

ROYAL OAK, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Saint Mary’s goalkeeper Chanler Rosenbaum its Defensive Player of the Week in women’s soccer for games played through September 22.

Rosenbaum, a junior from Hobart, Ind. (Hobart HS), allowed just one goal in 220 minutes of play for the week in leading the Belles to a pair of ties against MIAA contenders. She faced 21 shots and made a career-high 13 saves in a scoreless tie with defending conference champion Calvin, then allowed only one goal while facing 12 shots in a 1-1 draw with Hope.

Rosenbaum is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time this season and second time in her career.
